Less than 12 months after the release of Secrets of Summer, I’m proud beyond words to announce the release of my fourth and final Sacred Seasons album Blossom of Spring. And now I want to share a story about the last 12 months.

When the pandemic struck I had been working on my latest album, however with all the restrictive safety measures put in place and the subsequent toll taken on mental health and general wellbeing, I decided I would try to do my bit for the collective of mankind - to compose and share as much healing music with the world as possible.I commenced working on Blossom of Spring hoping to release it during May 2020.

However, my CD manufacturers and other parts of the production process were adversely affected by distribution and availability during the first lockdown.
I took the decision therefore to pause Spring and move onto Summer as it seemed likely I could release the second album - Secrets of Summer during summer.

And so through out the reminder of year and into 2021, I continued to write night and day - week in week out. Harder than I've ever worked in my life. Through all these long days, nights, weekends, my go to for relaxation and recuperation was the parts of Blossom of Spring that I had already written the rough copy of.I listen to the first 4 or 5 tracks on repeat almost every night at bedtime and found it so therapeutic and it helped me to fall asleep.

Over the year, as impartial as I should be, Spring was growing ever fonder in my heart and to this day it remains my firm favourite out of all my albums. And to this day I never tire of listening to this soothing and caring album. It’s my favourite of all. 

So there you have it.The only thing I would say is that I’ve had to develop real patience waiting for the day when I could complete Spring and even more the day I would be able to share it with the world.  But that day is here now, and after some time out to recuperate and reinvigorate I’m more excited and uplifted than ever before.I hope you enjoy the snippets I share with you in the coming days, will move you too and permit your spirit to soar.
